Hailing from the island of Trinidad & Tobago in the West Indies, Laurie has been fascinated with fitness from a young age and quickly realised how exercise played an integral part of everyday wellbeing, from cycling and running to playing football and cricket in school.
After moving to the UK in 1998, Laurie studied an Access to Health and Human Science course whilst working in the office world and subsequently qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2003.
Laurie worked as a Personal Assistant in a global Management Consultancy in London for five years before moving to Gibraltar in 2014. She has since completed an updated Personal Training qualification at Premier Training International and has been teaching Plyometric bodyweight training classes and guiding PT clients on a one to one basis with their specialised training programmes.
Fitness and wellbeing comes first for Laurie and her clients and her aim is to help them in their journey to get fitter and stronger as well as look at their health as a fuller picture.
